Ikegami Honmon-ji, au sud de Tokyo, est un temple du Nichiren Shū, la plus ancienne et la plus grande école traditionnelle du bouddhisme Nichiren. Il a été érigé là où le moine et érudit Nichiren serait mort. Nikkō, le disciple de Nichiren a également passé le reste de sa vie dans ce temple. Le terrain du temple comprend également le siège administratif du Nichiren Shū.
À distance de marche de la gare d'Ikegami ou de la gare de Nishi-Magome se trouvent un certain nombre de bâtiments, dont la plupart ont été reconstruits après le bombardement du 15 mars 1945. Il s'agit notamment de la pagode de cinq étages, construite en 1608, reconnue comme un bien culturel précieux.
La pagode Kyozo, construite en 1784, est un dépôt d'écrits religieux, et Nichiren a été incinéré dans la pagode Hoto, construite en 1781.
