As Japan's summer lingers into September, one of Osaka's biggest pool parties is set to return with even more to enjoy. SBI MUSIC CIRCUS presents SPLASH CIRCUS is expanding from a two-day event to a four-day festival in 2026, promising a lively mix of music, swimming, gourmet food, and illuminated night pool experiences in Sakai.

The event will take place at Ohama Park Pool on September 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th, following a successful debut in 2025 that attracted around 2,000 visitors. This year's edition is expected to be even bigger, with organizers adding extra dates and planning unique performances and attractions across each day.

Produced by the team behind one of Japan's largest music festivals, SBI MUSIC CIRCUS, the event transforms the public pool into a resort-style entertainment space. Guests can cool off in the water while DJs keep the energy high, enjoy foam-filled bubble moments, sample food and drinks from on-site vendors, and watch the atmosphere shift from sunny afternoons to colorful sunsets and glowing night pool displays.

Designed for adults aged 18 and over, SPLASH CIRCUS offers a chance to enjoy a different side of summer in Osaka, whether you're looking to dance poolside, relax with friends, or capture plenty of Instagram-worthy photos.

Tickets are now on sale, with one-day admission priced at 6,600 JPY for men and 3,300 JPY for women. A new four-day all-access pass is also available for 22,000 JPY for men and 9,900 JPY for women. While gender-based pricing may be unusual for many international visitors, discounted admission for women has long been used at some nightlife and entertainment events in Japan as a way to encourage a more balanced crowd.

Performers and the full event timetable will be announced closer to the festival, making this expanded celebration one to watch as summer draws to a close in the Kansai region.
