”花の御寺”と呼ばれるように、四季折々、様々な景色を楽しめる長谷寺。春は枝垂れ桜に日本一を誇る多種の牡丹が有名。
そして今回訪れた秋の紅葉も見応えがある。独特な地形により山内の高低差または気温差で紅葉を長く楽しめるのも特徴だ。
