Heading to Japan this summer and looking for a Demon Slayer experience beyond the usual anime shops and attractions? A delicious new collaboration is giving fans another reason to hunt down a bakery while exploring the country.

From July 1st to August 31st, 2026, bakery chain Heart Bread Antique is teaming up with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba for a limited-time collaboration featuring character-inspired breads, sweets, drinks, and exclusive merchandise. Available at participating locations across Japan, the event transforms some of the series' most beloved characters into surprisingly creative bakery treats.

Among the highlights is Tanjiro's pull-apart bread, designed to resemble the iconic checkered pattern of his haori, while Nezuko gets a strawberry-filled bread inspired by her pink kimono and bamboo muzzle. Zenitsu's contribution comes in the form of a lightning-themed egg bread, and Inosuke fans can sink their teeth into a fluffy meat bun with a hint of spice.

Hashira fans have plenty to look forward to as well. Muichiro's cat-shaped ramune bread features a mist-inspired design, Shinobu is represented by a wisteria-colored croissant, and Mitsuri inspires a pink strawberry-filled donut that is almost too cute to eat.

The collaboration also includes limited-edition brownies, madeleines, collectible stickers, acrylic keychains, badges, and other merchandise featuring exclusive artwork created by animation studio ufotable. Visitors who spend a certain amount on collaboration items can even receive special collectible coasters while supplies last.

For anime fans visiting Japan, these seasonal food collaborations are part of what makes traveling here so much fun. Whether you're sightseeing in Tokyo, exploring Osaka, or venturing further afield, stumbling across a Demon Slayer bakery display may end up being one of the most memorable snacks of your trip.
