Musée mémorial de Lafcadio Hearn

Le Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum est dédié à l'explorateur britannique arrivé au Japon dans les années 1800. Le musée a été ouvert en 1934, trente ans après le décès de Hearn, et a été rénové et agrandi en 2016. Hearn est devenu un citoyen japonais naturalisé après avoir épousé Koizumi Setsu, la fille d'un samouraï Matsue, en 1896.

Matsue Castle (松江城, Matsuejō) is the centerpiece of Matsue’s well-preserved castle town.
