Pokémon fans visiting Japan this winter will have a bunch of sweet treats to look forward to, as Mister Donut brings back its popular Pokémon collaboration with a new lineup of character-inspired goodies and limited-edition merchandise.

Launching on November 4, the “Let's All Gather! Winter Pokémon Campaign” celebrates Pokémon's 30th anniversary in 2026 by bringing together Pokémon that have appeared in Mister Donut collaborations over the years. The campaign's theme centerson Alolan Diglett, with colorful packaging featuring a gathering of familiar characters.

The lineup includes a Fluffy Pikachu Donut filled with whipped cream, complete with chocolate ears and strawberry-flavored gummy cheeks. There's also a Pon de Alolan Diglett, which recreates the Pokémon emerging from a chocolate-topped Pon de Ring, and a Pokémon Gather! Angel & Custard pastry featuring one of four collectible character sleeves.

This year's new addition is a Slowpoke Donut, designed to reflect the Pokémon's famously laid-back personality. True to form, it will arrive a little later than the other treats, with in-store sales beginning November 25.

Visitors can also pick up limited-edition merchandise, including Pokémon-themed blankets and a colorful drinking glass designed for children. Special doughnut and merchandise sets are available while supplies last.

Online pre-orders begin regionally from October 27, with pickup dates starting November 2. In-store sales of the main lineup begin November 4 at participating Mister Donut locations across Japan, although individual shops may sell out.

For travelers, it's a fun opportunity to experience one of Japan's seasonal character-food collaborations. Keep an eye out for the Pokémon packaging and treats while exploring Japan, but don't leave it too late if there's a particular doughnut you're hoping to try!
